How many of you fellow iPod/Windows Vista users are able to successfully sync and get Vista working on iPod touch without any problems?
" I'm having a lot of trouble. Music and videos do copy over to my iPod touch, but they don't play back very well. Songs tend to skip and stutter, and videos always crash (either to the videos menu, or cause the device to reset)." -- From forums.ilounge.com
Well, that's because iPod touch have some problem with syncing, especially on Windows Vista. To get rid of the problem, you first should check out that your Vista whether the latest version or not , which tackle the syncing problem with iPod and Vista. Secondly, make sure to update your iTunes in time.
If it still has problem, I recommend you using some 3-party software for that. Most of them help you to get the Vista work on iPod touch and really works very well. Some of them even features transfer music, video or photos from your iPod to Vista, to iTunes, or between other iPod/iPhone.
AVCWare iPod to iPod/Computer/iTunes Transfer, for example, is a worth trying tool. It's compatible iPod touch, iPhone and other iPods, supports Windows Vista and XP (Sp2 or later).
No sync problem and it enables you to manage your iPod touch as a portable hard disk. Once plug your iPod in, AVCWare will automatically sync your iPod and show you every files in it.
For other iPods, like iPod nano, iPod classic, you can even play media files with system default player.
