It's really confused that iTunes will not recognize your iPod unless your iPod software is updated to the latest version. But trouble exist that all of your precious contents on it, like music, video, photo etc. will be promptly wiped out leaving you with no library anywhere. To avoid the data lost, an iPod to computer transfer or iPod to iTunes transfer is the much needed.
Last week, I got an new iPod touch (version 3.1.1) and download 80gig songs and some movies on it. Yesterday iTunes say my iPod touch is get to be updated to the the latest version of 3.1.2 and now it can not recognize the 3.1.1. I know once update the iPod touch, my contents on it will disappear. It has an inter–program help document for quick reference, a Getting Started Guide, register and upgrade support etc.
System stability:
I have tried some other programs before, except the low speed to run software, some times they will encounter crash and some even do not work anymore. Cucusoft iPhone/iTouch/iPod to Computer Transfer is the only one that avoids this failing.
Drawback:
Well, as a iPod backup program, Cucusoft iPhone/iTouch/iPod to Computer Transfer is a powerful and trustful helper. However, the transfer program is specially designed for backup and it actually does not provide ability to add any files into iPod or manage your iPod contents by the software.
Any way, it's the most powerful tool for iPod files to computer backup. Music, videos, photos and Podcasts, playlists, camera roll etc. from iPod to computer/iTunes transfer will be extremely fast, safe and simple.
